An experimental typography poster for the 2012 Chinese Lunar New Year event in New York City. Vinyl and shimmer sticker letters were used to illustrate the patterns and symbolism that are used in the traditional dragon dances. In addition, a magnifying sheet placed over colorful LED lights was used to create a firework effect to give the viewer a feel of the actual excitement of the parade.
