An experimental typography poster for the 2012 Chinese Lunar New Year event in New York City. Shapes were made from colored paper and arranged to resemble brightly colored dragon scales just as the costumes in New Year dance performances that happen in China Town, Manhattan. Hand cut type was used to follow the similar system.
