Relax is a term that is constantly forgotten in our everyday hustle and bustle society. Many individuals feel that there is no time allotted in their schedule for resting, contemplating, or reflecting. Most of us often forget that we even have the ability to do these things for ourselves.

My colleague Samantha Gonzalez-Carbonell and I took a chance to reflect on where we were in our last semester of undergrad (Spring 2012) we’ve realized how much we’ve omitted time for thought and reflection from our working lives. With the pressure of preforming efficiently at our jobs and academic settings we have found that we both developed a drone-like system where we constantly work, sometimes without even coming up for a breath air and loosing touch with not only our inner selves, but even those around us.
Samantha and I started to formulate ideas that would not only be effective and relate to us personally, but also for everyone else enduring their academic journeys, especially for Graphic Design seniors who felt that they have completely lost their focus and have lost the sense of reflection due to the stress built up from the pressures of graduation. The individual can take part in and have a chance to take a moment to breathe in and reflect.
