We live in a time where the inspiration to pursue new endeavors and professions run free through the grasslands and concrete jungles. Some of us have roots in science & technology as well as costume design, and that is OK. We consistently feel the need to have that one title to feel verified in the world around us but is it really needed?

In the first issue of Blend/r, the reader will see a wide range of people that practice more than two disciplines at a time and I am also one of them. The reader will see how one talent fuels the other or sometimes even inspires the other to be born. Everyone has the capability to do more than one thing, the people shown in this issue are the ones that have awakened that part of their brain in some point in time.
